STORY: SnagIt Saves

Dan the technical writer walked down the hall at work and saw his
coworker Karl lugging his computer monitor down the hall.

"What's going on?" Dan asked.

Karl looked up. He looked quite harried. He was out of breath and
sweating.

"I have a lot of screen captures to perform," Karl said. "And I'm
SICK of using the Print Screen key and cutting and pasting and editing
. . . so I'm taking the computer monitor to the copy machine. I'm
just going to photocopy the monitor screen." His bloodshot eyes
darted from Dan to the copier.

Dan realized the seriousness of the situation. He carefully led Karl
to a chair and persuaded him to put down the monitor.

"SnagIt 7," he said gently to Karl, "is the perfect utility to capture
and share images, text and video from your PC. Whether you're
creating documentation, making a presentation or saving online
content, SnagIt makes it easier than ever before."

"SnagIt?" Karl said, obviously eager for a lifeline.

"Yes - and you can try it 30 days for free," Dan told him. He
encouraged Karl to stand, led him to his office and showed him
SnagIt's site.

Karl visibly relaxed as he began exploring SnagIt's options. "You can
capture menus? You can put it in Word and Outlook's toolbars? You
can save all of your profiles for easy access?" He stood. "This is
fantastic! I'm going to go to my own office and start working now!"

"Umm . . . you might want to pick up your monitor on the way," Dan
pointed out. As he watched Karl walk down the hall, he happened to
see his coworker Carrie pick up a camera and snap a picture of her
computer screen.

"Here we go again . . . " Dan said, as he moved in to make the rescue.
