I design with this priority: My boss, and next to
reduce the flack I might take from various other
managers, lastly to meet the needs of my audience
based on my experience, education, and training. Note
that the first item might sometimes include items for
which I have successfully lobbied. But, creating
excellent documentation is not my primary concern.
(Clearly, this depends on your environment; get to
know your *real* audience.)
