How do I find a REF field code? What is the syntax in the Find and Replace dialog?
Press Alt+F9 to reveal field codes.
Search (case-insensitive) for this string:
^d REF
That's a "hat" (Shift+6), a space, and the word "REF".
justin...quickly becoming the biggest advocate for OO there is.
It wouldn't surprise me to learn that OO simulates Word's behavior in this circumstance. I'd certainly hope that fields are 100% compatible, because they're such a major part of Word's advanced capabilities that I'd hate to think OO does things differently.
