BTW, I also have to add, the math notwithstanding, if the
ultimate goal is to get more work and not to eke out every
last cent you think you're owed from a client you never
want to talk to again after it's all over, the only thing
to do is reevaluate the work vs what it brings in when you
calculate the invoice *their* way, and if you can live with
the final numbers, *do it their way.*

As the cliche says, the customer isn't always right, but
is still always the customer.
