I more or less work the same way. I suspect most of us do.

And when you add up all the minutiae involved in creating a document, yes,
it looks like 8hrs/page is reasonable. But it's a mathematical trick: did
it -really- take 400 days to produce a 400 page document? Of course not.

It's much the same as those tip sheets that tell us all the things we're
supposed to do daily if we want to have a richer, more productive life.
Individually, none of them take more than a minute here, or a few minutes
there. But if I recall correctly from a USA Today* sidebar article a few
years back, summarizing the most common, popular "tips," when all those
minutes were tallied up our richer, more productive life was going to
require a 37-hour day to achieve.

So, John, are you going to share your secret for temporal manipulation with
the rest of us?
