There's no
way I'm going to turn my 8-9 hour workday into a 12-13
hour day on my own dime.
</snip>

If they expect you to put in long hours to learn the skills and not get paid
for it, I agree that you're better off ending this contract right away. On
the other hand, if you can get them to buy into teaching you on the fly and
paying you for it without expecting overtime, I would jump at the chance.
Why not get paid to add things to your resume? Before you quit, find out
what they are willing to do to work with you. You may find that you're
throwing away a golden opportunity.

<snip>
I allot time between
contracts to learn new skills.

Now THAT is doing it on your own dime. Not to mention that skills tend to be
worth more when they're developed in a work environment.

My opinions are free to anyone at any time. :-)

Donna
