Back in 2001, according to he archives, there was some discussion on this list about ways to generate javadoc reports from java code, but with certain classes that were declared as "public" excluded.

No resolution was reported.

The Javadoc FAQ suggests that there is a third-party taglet somewhere that can do this. Anybody know about it, or any other way to automate this process?
