Manisha,

We use a document from our product management group that outlines
the new features and reference design and engineering documents.
But then, we're fairly far along in methodology.

The new features document has the following sections:

Cover
Table of Contents
Introduction
Feature Descriptions
.
.
.
New Software
New Hardware
Glossary (this one is really handy since each new feature can
introduce new acronyms)
