A few weeks ago, I searched for something about technical writing to post
for Take Our Sons and Daughters to Work Day, and I found a few articles that
that nicely sum up what we do (I pasted my favorites below). I think I
googled "technical writing career."

http://technology.monster.com/articles/writing/

http://www.computerbits.com/archive/1996/0100/techwrit.html

I still have the first article posted outside my cube and have noticed
several people stop and read it recently. Even the engineers/developers who
we work with daily may not understand what we do, so I think I'll leave it
up and add to it.

Happy Friday!

Donna
