FrameMaker and Formulas

Hi All,
 
Does anyone know how to use a formula (or equation) to sum the values in a
column of a table (like MS Word does) at the end of that table? 
 
I have tables that sum the total record length in each table. These are long
tables and I do not want to retabulate them manually each time a record is
added or lengths change.
