On a lark, I call him up and ask him what term he's searching on.

"Admin"

I use the term Administrator, I use administration. I even use the term
"administrate". No place in the document or help do I USE the term "admin".

Dumb question. Shouldn't searching for "admin" result in hits on all of
those other terms? I can see the developer's frustration. A user might not
know which ending to the word to search for and instead want to use the
partial term to get all instances of the root word. I use this method all
the time when googling for stuff. Is it not possible with whatever you're
using for help? (I have to admit to being help-illiterate...)
