If you include an example of a report, I would put it in an Appendix. That
way, it's not "in the way" for people who don't need to see it, but it's
conveniently available for anyone who might want to look at it.

I am primarily an auditory learner, so I can't be much help otherwise. :)
But it wouldn't hurt to include it, or a portion of it (if it's particularly
long). Even if the current users are familiar with reports, it would be a
help to new users who might access your documentation down the line.
