I do have to disagree--IA is not merely a subset of ID. IA is more
library-science-meets-ID-and-UX than it is "merely" drawing boxes.
Metadata and controlled vocabularies and thesauri and faceted taxonomies
are tools in their toolkit...along with the ability to label navigation
items. Venn diagrams help understand these relationships rather than
discrete boxes. That is, there's crossover without subsumation.
