I'd go with Flash before I'd undertake Authorware. Authorware is a difficult program to learn. I've used Java for the current simulations I do.

Hi,

We are comparing eLearning Authoring tools. We are not
an elearning firm so we are not looking for anything
too jazzy. Essentially, we are trying to run a series
of simulations (including text and voice over) for a
technical audience. Minimal support for graphics
creation and testing will suffice.

I have looked around for information and here's the
list I have:
ReadyGo WebCourseBuilder
Macromedia AuthorWare (would Flash suffice?)
Allen Quest
SumTotal Toolbook Assistant or Instructor.....
...and I am sure there are many more.

Recommendations, anyone? Which tool do you prefer?

Thanks,
