Unfortunately ;), yes, they are worth my time. It
may not *feel* like it, when I finally get a useful
(to me) tidbit toward the end of hour two or three,
but there really isn't any better way to fully
understand a development or change, the reasons
(however specious) for the problems and compromises,
etc.

I do curse the "lost" time, but then I realize I'm
comparing the real world to some idealized one where
neatly packaged information drops into my lap. But
in this actual world, I gotta do what I gotta do.
