I chose 3-5 years. I like everything that goes into tech writing
except for the writing part. ;-) I've been doing it a while, though
not as long as many of you, and though I'm good at what I do, I'm
looking at other options for a career (which is why I decided to enter
management). I still use a lot of my tech writing skills, and still do
a fair amount of tech writing, but I really prefer the management
duties and responsibilities. I feel it's a better fit for me.
