Hi,

We are looking at automating some of the localisation processes we use for
FrameMaker documents, and need someone to write a macro to do the
following to the MIF files:

· Convert Variables to text (EXCLUDING HEADERS & FOOTERS)
· remove double spaces
· remove double full stops
· remove double comma?s
· remove space before comma?s
· remove space before full stops
· remove \r (soft returns)
· remove \p# (space before paragraphs)
· Check ALL x refs and ensure there are no double spaces, space
before/after brackets, etc in the code
· Where necessary use non-breaking hyphens \+. Use Find/Change to insert
these.
· Check for missing/correct fonts and/or graphics
· Callouts & Decals turned on
· Turn off HYPHENATION (Paragraph Designer global update all paragraph and
catalog entries)
· Make all CALLOUTS visible & lengthen for possible language expansion
· Replace straight QUOTE MARKS & APOSTROPHES with curly ones (\shift2)
· Save at 100% (size) & turn off All graphics, borders & text symbols

Does anyone know if it is possible to do this a) at all b)in some Macro
form. If so does anyone know a freelancer developer who might be able to
do this?

All help appreciated
