The smart-ass paperclip rolling its eyes at him just makes him hate the
help a wee bit more.

To be fair, Clippy isn't "help" in the traditional sense. I *never* use Clippy, but Word's help is frequently helpful.

For example, if our hypothetical user had chosen Microsoft Word Help (rather than Show the Office Assistant) and typed *exactly* the same question under "What would you like to do?" on the Answer Wizard tab, the results would've included

Justify text

as the 12th of 20 items in the results. Click it, and you see a picture of the right-justify button, a reminder where to find it, and a definition of "justify" in the context of the topic.

Not too bad, I think.


P.S. I tested this in Word 2000.
