The other alternative is to photograph the screens with a digital camera -- results not good.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you *really* have to go the camera route, and I have had to do it a few times, albeit some years ago, you will need to set a shutter speed of 1/30th of a second or longer, so that you guarantee getting at least one full screen refresh.

Hope you find a screen grab method that works,
