I'll get right on my petition to Microsoft for a custom Office MSDN
subscription in which every bit of technology they offer will be
available to me the way I want it, when I want it. I figure they can
just whip that up in a jiffy, right?

LOL!!!

And why limit that to software? I'll have VW build me a custom
Touareg/R32 hybrid while I'm at it, and Ethan Allen for custom
furniture while I'm at it.

Sure, I can get all these things (well, maybe not from MS), but at a
hefty price tag.

Do you want lower prices, or custom tools?
