I had a client who had a large software project that was going to
revolutionize how they did business. When I joined the project I
noticed that every piece of project documentation was adorned with four
space shuttles, one in each corner. I know they wanted to convey that
the project was a "big launch" event for the company and maybe some
sense of adventure of traveling to the new business world. All I saw
was the Challenger and its tragic fate. As the project faced more and
more challenges I began to feel that the space shuttle graphics were
very appropriate. ;)
