Hello everyone,

From time to time, education requirements for getting a technical
writing job have been discussed on the list, but so far as I can see, a poll hasn't been done to see where everyone got started. For those of you who are new and just getting started, I encourage you to look through the Getting Started section of the TECHWR-L magazine: http://www.techwr-l.com/ct.php?link=http://www.techwr-l.com/techwhirl/ magazine/gettingstarted/index.html

And now, this week's question:

What education got your technical writing career started?

* High School diploma
* Associate of Arts
* Bachelors in English or Journalism
* Bachelors, Comp. Sci., Engineering, or tech field
* Bachelors in another field
* Masters in English or Journalism
* Masters, Comp. Sci., Engineering, or tech field
* Masters in another field
* Ph.D in any field
* Other/None of the above

Enter your choice at http://www.techwr-l.com/techwhirl/

Have a good week!
Lisa B.
