On an individual basis, I have no problem with getting respect.

The field as a whole? It's not by screaming indignation at getting no
respect...that only worked for one person. And how they hyphenate
anything to anything is irrelevant. For the field to get the respect
you scream for, there must be a formal field with which those can
point their respect at. To do this? Yes, we need certification.
