We have a China office, but I have not yet been there. I don't think
I'd move out of the US, unless I had extreme reasons to do so. I have
too many friends and family here, fairly local to me, in the US.
Really, that's what life's about, not employment opportunities. That
said, I'd be more apt to change careers entirely than move thousands
of miles away just for a job in my chosen field.

As far as prosperity, you don't need to move to foster that.
