This may be too late for you to weigh in, but, in my ultra-subjective
opinion:

~ Job 1 does not pay as much (everything factored in) and requires
travel. But, it seems like a substantially better career move and much
more interesting work.

~ Job 2 pays well and should be very comfortable for someone of your
experience, but is not a true challenge.

So, if it were me - Job 1.
