>> Most of the documentation for products manufactured
in China that I have encountered are either marked
printed in the USA" or are written in such a manner as
to suggest to me that they were probably generated by
their engineers. <<

We create PDF documents that are included in-the-box
with our products, which are shipped from the US and
from countries other than the US. We provide the docs
with "Printed in the US" on the front page. The local
organization edits the PDF to include their country
name in place of "US" to indicate the actual country
of printing One cannot make any assumption that
the country that printed the doc is the same as the
county that created the doc.

My spouse and I had an agreement, if a job opportunity
came up for us to re-locate outside the US, we were
free to accept the offer without consulting each
other,. We would love to have the life experience
to live in another country, and to share it with
our kids. But, since we are at that time of life
when the kids are about to enter college, it's too
late, or a bit too early. Maybe in a few years when
they are all gone from home.
