It wasn't my intention to suggest that nobody "has been able"
to write about treating documentation as engineering projects, merely that those who might be able to do so may not have taken the time to, or if they have, might not have made it available for others to share. There may be all manner of process documentation
locked up in various companies' confidential internal procedures.
Or, like many other undocumented "best practices," it may be that the lack of documentation on the engineering of documents may be a classic case of the cobbler's children having holes in their shoes.
I know that my own dept's process documentation is out of date
because we haven't had the time to devote to it for a while.

As an engineer, I like the specific and the concrete. To me hearing that structured writing, on one one
hand, is the "meat" of TWing, and other the other hand
that no body has been able to write about it yet with
any specificity is very confusing. How can something
be both fundamental and vague?
