You didn't produce it. Your comapny did. Because you are paid by your
comapny, anything you produce for them on their time is theirs, not
yours.

Standing up for our "craft" is moot. Our "craft" has changed every
year for decades. There *are* standards. Our "craft" does not and
never will drive the amount of respect we get.  I think you're
confusing "respect" with "importance". The two are not synonymous.
Your work can be important and you can command no respect. Likewise
your work can be unimportant and you can command tons of respect.

In other words, how much respect you get is entirely up to you and you
alone. How important your work is depends on its quality and
usefulness.
