Careful, Kelly! There is a Fat Bright Line between saying that a piece of writing stinks and saying that the person who wrote it is a moron. The first is focused on the Thing and it is defensible as an opinion you're entitled to, even if some people take offense at the existence of critical commentary. The second is focused on the Person, and can be interpreted as defamatory and hence actionable.
