... Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi. The nine-banded
armadillo is a known carrier of leprosy and is a key
subject animal in Hansen's disease research. That's why
those A&M frat boys checked into the infirmary with lesions
in interesting places. Seems someone had a funny idea for
hazing.
