Hey, it's just some numbers and a story I made up because Eric asked for hard numbers showing where someone could lose money by being paid hourly. My scenarios may be unrealistic, but then again, maybe they're not...

When I used to work as a contractor, I didn't get paid holidays, vacations, sick time, or any of that. And making up hours wasn't always an option, depending on why I missed them in the first place. There were some times when I had a difficult time making ends meet because I missed time.
