There's another reason why. I've been at companies where everything
documented was run through several levels of approval...legal,
product management, cost accounting, etc. If a word is changed, the
process has to start over again. There is a cost to the organization.

That's why you need to quantify the cost of the problem. If the cost
of the problem is not more than the cost of the solution, then it
doesn't make sense from the perspective of the bottom line.
