Um, having worked in retail on several occasions, I can safely say the
original, though it may have been a Freudian slip, was actually correct:
After about 6 - 7 hours dealing with another bloody customer will
generate a rise in pitch, volume, blood pressure, bile, etc., etc.,
etc... ;-)
