I haven't tried the OS X version, but I have to admit that the Windows
binaries are a little flaky. I suspect there are fewer resources for it
than for other versions. Still, it remains servicable enough that I no
longer upgrade my copy of PhotoShop (imagine: paying for software. What
a strange concept...).

I also have to add that, on any platform, the GIMP screen capture tool
would be a lot more satisfying if the window didn't close after each
shot was taken. When I take screen shots, I tend to take a lot of them
at once.
