Received this offline, am reposting it here:

"Commvault does have a bad rep from their employees. How they do their
selection process, I have no idea. One of my friends that worked there
kind of forced himself on them;\he has since left them. However, with
this latest Commrevolt TW job, my girlfriend Elena submitted her resume
-- they offered her a telephone interview, but she turned them down.

They apparently have a high turnover rate because they treat their
employees poorly... A friend was working there once walked my resume
to the documentation manager-- but I never heard from them.

As far as adventis, you really have to have know someone to get into
their door... they hire few technical writers, and of course, loads
more medical writers. they are having some growing pains have just been
taken over by another company (right?). "
