I'm a much simpler soul than you give me credit for, I'm afraid. My
motivations didn't go deeper than a conviction that there has to be
someone, somewhere working on a GPL tool for writing .chm (there's
always a free software project for anything you can think of), and, if
so, that I might get an article out of the fact and maybe a quote or two
from users.
