Dear all,

In the light of strong-worded off-list replies :-) I should perhaps explain that this is a one-page section where the section heading is "Adjust camera focus". That's the reason I feel one can divert from the infinitive phrasing "To adjust focus, turn the focus ring...".

The reader already knows that the focus is on the focus, so to speak.
