My apologies for the error. I know that you've been heavily involved
with OOoAuthors, and I guess it was just wishful thinking on my part
that the same group was also having some input into the on-line help.
Since I write about OOo frequently, I've tried to keep an arm's length
relation to the project, so I'm not always as clear on details as I
probably should be.
No need to apologise, Bruce. Even those of us closely involved
with OOo can't always keep the players straight without a scorecard.
Some of the OOoAuthors people are having some input into the
on-line help, mostly by sending in "bug reports" when they find
errors. I think most of us would like to be more involved but
simply don't have time.
... it occurs to me that OOoAuthors might be
a good place for list-members who are curious
about open source projects to learn about them.
I have no idea if we are a typical example, as I have had no
personal experience working on documentation (or anything else) for any other open source project.
