Of course, you could have an FM editable flat file version and simply
open another window in Frame without having to have Word running
simultaneously--but I suppose that is a bit too simple.

As I said, I still fail to see any advantage to having it in Word
format. It appears mostly to be simply something that you were already
familiar with--and not willing to use Frame since it was new to you,
although the practice would undoubtedly have been worthwhile.

Personally, I dislike having too many large applications running at
the same time since that increases the likelihood of system crashes,
Windows' famous memory leaks, etc.

I, too, have appreciated the Microtype .pdf file.
