Actually, the Bell Labs guys (and therefore everyone else)
used "Unix", both in docs and in discussion for years.

Then, in the early 80s, AT&T's trademark people decided it
should be "UNIX".

I still use "Unix", unless it is a document where trademark
issues might matter.
