Good point. I was debating whether to mention it, but I wasn't sure it
would be necessary. The subject of the wiki will be open-source
software for technical writers.

While I doubt there will be much controversy, I like you suggestion
about picking an engine that registers commenters.

The point of the wiki is to provide a support mechanism/community for
tech writers using open-source software. I'm envisioning it as a place
to get help on using open-source software such as OpenOffice, Nvu, and

It's not intended as a forum for debating the merits of open-source
software vs. commercial software. That's the idea, at least.
