Thanks for responses. Meant to ask in my question , what are some ways you could resize the excel spreadsheet when it's copied and pasted into word table? I've got a spreadsheet with columns that extend just beyond a legal size paper and would like to shrink it to letter. Does it need to be brought over as an object and shrunk. if so, it wouldn't be a maintainable table anymore? thanks again! Mike
