John, good luck. Unfortunately, Outlook is so full of proprietary controls
that things like scheduling and integration with the Microsoft Exchange
client (used by most companies to handle corporate e-mail) makes finding an
alternative very iffy.

Subject: Replacement for Outlook

Hi, guys...I'm doing more and more working telecommuting. I've been granted
VPN access to the company (not an easy thing for a contractor around here)
and are pretty much able to come and go as I please. However, one of the
things I need to do is get some type of program on my laptop that will
access the company mail system.

We use Outlook. Before I go and buy a copy of Outlook, dod anyone know if
there is an Open Source equiv to Outlook? I'd need as close a replacement as
I can get.

Any tips?
