Reviewers usually give you one of two kinds of feedback:

1. What you tell them you're looking for from them
2. What they think is important or feel like giving you
(which, btw, can include nothing)

Nothing can guarantee that you'll get #1, but unless you give
them some guidance along with the 600-page draft, it's a
sure bet you'll get #2.

his/her up to 600 page manuals. Can such reviews
result in significant feedback such as reorgan1zation
suggestions or the filling of logical "holes", or will
feedback on text be limited to minnor corrections?
