Fred:

Scoping = Determine the extent of a system.
Scoping = Determine the boundaries of a system
Scoping = Determine what the system will do, and what
it will not do.
Scoping = Determine the business objectives of a
system.

The above are basically the all the same.  Fred, how
do you scope a system?
