9:1 - counting QA engineers.
6:1 - only Development engineers/writers

My team writes docs for developers/consultants, sys admins/operators,
and end-users of a large enterprise software product. I'm the Pubs and
Education manager but I'm counting myself as 1/2 a writing resource,
though I often end up writing much more.

Diane <diane_evans -at- merck -dot- com> said, "I guess this is a 1:13 ratio,
unless you count me as three people."

Oh no, let's not start that... some of us might end up with so many
selves that we can't all fit in the cubicle. And then there's explaining
it on the tax paperwork and to the psychiatrists and...
well, the good side might be asking for multiple paychecks.
