About a year ago I joined a Very Large Company and my pet peeve is not so much words as it is the acronymphomania that is so pervasive. I wish I could find a Powerpoint presentation I saw not so long ago which had one slide that was almost totally and completely acronyms. If there were ten actual words on this slide, I'd eat it.
