RE: Most annoying word

Thought of another one.  Downsize - but wait, this is good.

When I was in the AF, I got an "official" message one day that said all
of our 3/4-ton trucks would be "downsized" to 1/2-ton trucks.  Excuse
me?  Were they going to put them thru a REALLY hot carwash to shrink
them?  No, the intention was that the big ones would be turned in and
replaced with the smaller.  But that's not what the message said - only
that we should "downsize" the trucks.  

Good grief.
