When "whatever" is used to discount anything you just said to the other
person or to indicate that they really don't give a rip.
But my ultimate... and this I just remembered...
"What's up?"
It makes me want to scream. The tone usually rendered with that saying
is to me saying, "Hurry up and speak, I have very little time for you."
Although, "Wazzup?" is fine.
Claire - thinking of her brother who uses Wazzup all the time and it
makes her laugh.

"Anyways."
That is my most annoying word. It's a word that isn't a word and people
use it all the time, on tv, in films, in conversations overheard at
restaurants. "So, anyways, I was talking to Bill and he told me that
Angela is mad at me."
