Let's see ... yesterday I was involved in four (4) hours of NetMeetings to go over the requirements and plans for the project my teammates and I are working on. It's just about as good as being there with them except I didn't get any of the chocolates someone brought.

I feel like I keep in great touch. Granted, I can't have the hallway conversations they do, but I can nag developers via phone and email from 2,000 miles away just about as effectively as I could if I were down the hall. And I have my co-workers to physically harass someone should it become necessary.

You'd better hide or I'll sic 'em on you!!

I suppose I was hired for between 37.5 and 40 hours a week, and I put in between 35 and 45 a week. Working from home I think I'm generally much more productive than I ever was in the office.

From home? From...... _HOME_!!

How can you keep yourself intimately involved in steering product development... from home?

Sounds like another glorified secretary... <gdr&h>
